The internationally patent protected Equa-Trac® valve provides two key advantages common to Mud Hog applications: easy system control and optimum tractive effort. Working in concert with the totally free-wheeling cam-lobe motors, the Equa-Trac valve eliminates the need for operators to climb down from the cab to manually engage or disengage hubs at the wheel end. Operators simply flip a switch in the cab to engage and disengage the system... on the go and under load!
In addition, the Equa-Trac valve senses pressure drops associated with wheel spinout. Then it automatically diverts hydraulic flow to the wheel in the system which is getting traction.
